🌿 This Year’s Garden and Allotment Competition Was a Huge Success! 🌿

It was fantastic to see the pride and dedication that residents put into their gardens and allotments. The creativity, care, and community spirit on display were truly inspiring.

Both competitions were closely contested, with many outstanding entries, and we can’t wait to see what next year brings!

Our Chairperson, Cllr Jeff Beattie, was extremely proud to help oversee the competition and shared how inspired he was by the incredible efforts of all participants.

We’re delighted to announce this year’s winners:

🌸 Garden Competition Winner – Mrs. Stephens (Church Village)
Mrs. Stephens has worked incredibly hard, growing many of her flowers from seed, maintaining her garden in immaculate condition, and providing a rich food source for pollinators. Her dedication and attention to detail were clear for all to see.

🥕 Allotment Competition Winner – Mr. Spooner (Tonteg Allotments)
Mr. Spooner’s plot was a standout. Not only did it produce high-quality fruit and vegetables, but his innovative use of recycled materials throughout the allotment was hugely inspiring.
